of the sweater
This gorgeous sweater combines design and practicality, so it’s simply perfect as a work garment when you want the top half to make the statement in an outfit. I can see it worn by a freelancer who works outside a fixed office. Teamed up with wide trousers you create a more sophisticated look, and for something a bit edgier and more “underground” go for skinny pants. A long skirt gives this knit a touch of the bohemian chic that we all love.
When it comes to footwear, make sure you feel comfortable, whether you go for chunky, ankle boots or a bit of a heel. If you opt for wide trousers, then choose a plain ankle boot, but if you decide on a skirt, pick out a casual sporty shoe to complete your look.
Hairstyle: Messed up, tousled or loosely tied back; it has to be loose and informal to get the sexy look this sweater demands.
Make up: When you wear black, your lips don’t always have to be the focal point of your face. Even so, if you’re into red, go for it, but you may find that a bubblegum pink lip colour will do the job just as well. Steer clear of – or at least don’t overdo – the browns.
So which garment completes the casual look? It has to be the trench coat – open or closed, it’s up to you- the point being that a stylish trench will complement this knit to perfection. With such a bold look, shoes have to take second place, and in fact, apart from courts, I’d say take your pick!
As for carrying your stuff, with this look it simply has to be a big, weekend-style bag.
Hairstyle: I just love the upstyle, whether it’s a low one, a high one or somewhere in the middle, but make it just that little bit undone, those loose strands are our best friends.
Why did I design it this way?
I am a real fan of mixing textures to empower a look, so I combined my signature die-cut with a tricot knit.
Agnés Sunyer quality certificate: The fabric used in this garment has been manufactured specifically for the brand by a sustainable workshop, where professionals have a decent salary.
